The BOA Principles

1. Respect - Always respect your parents or guardians, your family and your friends. Respect  your teachers and your coaches. Respect your opponent. Above all else respect yourself.
2. Dream High - set goals, challenge yourself. And when others tell you that you can’t, you  persevere.
3. Discipline and commitment - Achieving goals requires hard work. Embrace the challenge. Don’t be denied.
4. Believe to achieve. The true size of our heart and determination cannot be measured. It is from within that brings out the best in us.
5. Listen and learn. The world is filled with things we don’t know. Training is no different. Pay attention to your coaches and mentors. Take time to study those you aspire to be like
6. Use fear to your advantage. Every athlete experiences fear. Fear is energy. Energy creates power. Power means  explosiveness. Channel fear in this direction.
7. Build character. Never give up - never give in. Don’t take the easy way out. Character triumphs over peer
pressure - your character is too strong.
